Morocco, 2022

Photography, Production & Editing

In a tranquil corner of the Moroccan desert, a Tamazight woman lives with her husband and two children. They occupy a small patch of land where they eke out a meager existence. Despite her dedication and hard work, the woman feels she has no opportunities to better her family's lot. Despite her hunger for a better life for her children, she is limited by her lack of education and the constrictions of living a traditional rural lifestyle.

The Amazigh people have inhabited Morocco's lands since ancient times. They have a long and rich history, culture, and language. Although they have often been neglected, the Amazigh people are an important part of the Moroccan culture.

Today, Amazigh people continue to maintain their own unique language and culture in Morocco. They remain an important part of the nation and continue to practice traditions that have been in existence for centuries. Whether it is their music, cuisine, or language, the Amazigh people of Morocco continue to add color to this magnificent North African nation.

This collection of photographs has received recognition in both, Glasgow, UK, and Santander, Spain.

Iranian Women

Photography, Production & Editing

This collection was shot in 2014. Women in Iran were facing numerous cultural and social issues. Even though they now have more mobility and financial freedom, they are still subjected to gender discrimination, harassment, and social pressure.

Despite all these issues, Iranian women are strong and strive to make their voices heard and fight for their rights.

This collection was exhibited in Argentina and it is included in several private collections.

Cuban Women

Photography, Production & Editing

Cuban women have experienced remarkable advancements in their rights over the last two decades. They are now more involved in politics, with Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel appointing more female government ministers into his cabinet than any previous Cuban leader.

Female-owned businesses are blossoming and the number of female entrepreneurs has grown steadily over recent years.

In 2023, women will be even closer to achieving full equality with men. This is a time of great opportunity for Cuban women, and a time of hope for the future of Cuba.

This collection was exhibited in Argentina.
